Does Gear lower your immune system? I believe that aas fvck up your immune system in a sense because you are more likely to get viral infections yet you are less likely to get bacterial infections something to do with the th2 immunity at the expense of th1 please dont ask me to explain this as i dont really now how to.
Hope this helps and you can get the sust flu as you call it from any test so perhaps you are getting this. I think its down to inadequate amounts of full balanced protein. So check your diet bro and you should be fine. Fvck that was a long winded answer for a simple question sorry guys lol. Hello Yes its a interesting issue and very complicated mate, basically it suppresses your immune system,BUT it can give you a more apparent resistance to viral infections when ON cycle aswell, although SOME like deca and anavar CAN boost your immune function.
Every time you start a new med, you run the risk of getting some sort of flu symptoms until your body accepts the new steroid.
The things i put myself thru. Fairly complex issue TBH, as said by my good man Bbig above. There are a couple of main methods your immune system uses to attack invaders etc. The humoral arm antibodies and the cellular arm white blood cells. Androgens and Progestins stimulate the humoral arm and suppress the cellular arm. Prolactin does the opposite. It stimulates the cellular arm and suppresses the humoral arm.
Estrogens are a bit more complicated. At low or normal levels they act like prolactin. At high levels they switch over and start acting like androgens and progestins. So your particular cycle will determine what effects there are on your immune system. Hope that helps a bit! Does testosterone generally make you more susceptible to viral infections and less susceptible to bacterial infections or vice versa?
Testosterone is an androgen. It aromatises to estrogens. It is also converted to a stronger androgen in some tissues. What other drugs you use, and how your body deals with testosterone, will influence how it effects your immune system. Generally, testosterone should have less of an effect on immune response than most other gear.
In fact test is often the "safest" gear in many ways as it's "natural" to the body. Modulation of immune responses by anabolic androgenic steroids. Anabolic androgenic steroids AS have recently been placed on the Food and Drug Administration's FDA's list of controlled substances, because of the adverse effects seen in athletes taking accelerated dosages in attempts to enhance performance.
Reported deleterious effects on abusers include sterility, gynecomastia in males, acne, balding, psychological changes, and increased risks of heart disease and liver neoplasia. Considering the roles of the immune and neuroendocrine systems and their interactions in many of these pathologies, it is important to determine the effects of these derivitized androgens on this connection. Little is known in this respect. We therefore determined the effects of anabolic steroids on certain immune responses and their effects on the extrapituitary production of corticotropin by lymphocytes.
We present evidence that 1 both beta and alpha esterified AS, nandrolone decanoate and oxymethenelone, respectively, significantly inhibited production of antibody to sheep red blood cells in a murine abuse model; 2 the control androgens testosterone and dehydroepian-drosterone DHEA or sesame seed oil vehicle had no significant effects on antibody production; 3 nandrolone decanoate and oxymethenelone directly induced the production of the inflammatory cytokines IL-1 beta and TNF-alpha from human peripheral blood lymphocytes but had no effect on IL-2 or IL production; 4 control androgens had no direct cytokine inducing effect; 5 nandrolone decanoate significantly inhibited IFN production in human WISH and murine L cells; and 6 nandrolone decanoate significantly inhibited the production of corticotropin in human peripheral blood lymphocytes following viral infection.
These data indicate that high doses of anabolic steroids can have significant effects on immune responses and extrapituitary production of corticotropin. Furthermore, the mouse model should provide an effective means by which to study other deleterious effects of anabolic steroid abuse in humans.
If you remember from the Documentary Cheating in Athens, which I know was not that great. The athletes in that were taking 3. No frontloading from what they said. The following results were noted about the immune system.
This means that for the first time, a test on humans has linked androgenic anabolic steroids with a reduction in the NK cells' ability to destroy diseased body cells - such as those infected with a virus or tumour.
This reduction comes on top of the already reduced immune system that many athletes have through stressing their bodies with intensive training. It is believed that the reduction in NK Cell activity would be even greater at the higher level of steroids normally taken by bodybuilders and sports people. Hi there JimBeam Just wondered if you are running any steroids along side your test, ie any Orals?
I feel that Dbol and Anadrol play a big part in making me feel really crappy at the start of each cycle. Create an account or sign in to comment. I thought only Sust did this to me and reading loads of you guys getting it too.. Does gear affect the immune system? I usually feel good while on Deca but the Test is putting a damper on it this time.. Santa Universe Member Total Posts: Oxford United Kingdom Status: Dumbat Pro-Member Total Posts:
