oral steroids with meals or empty stomach? [Archive] - RX Muscle Forums
Andriol needs to be taken with a fatty meal. I like mine on an empty stomach just before walking out the door heading to the gym. I want to feel like a freight train hit me. That is what i was always told. Best to take them with a fatty meal as stated above. When taking SD I took all the capsules with the pills emptied into a shot of extra virgin olive oil.
Barely have the time to check these forums lately: I always take with my fish oil capsules. Just make the assumption that thats the same as a fatty meal. Cigars don't float my boat. Give me a little time to pick. I'm very picky when it comes to women. On another note, proviron works wonders when taken on a full stomach. I only said that because I've been taking 50mg with my last meal and I wake up in the middle of the night aching for some "ehm". My girlfriend's on a business trip and I'm not enjoying it.
If I was bulking.. I think it makes sense to take it with food to utilize nutrients and take advantage of the increased protein synthesis. Why wen i made a thread about oral tren everyone told me take it on an empty stomach, now suddely everyone saying it has to be wit a meal?
Anyone got some proof or a study or somtin to show? At type of Fat that works best? I'd say remembering to take the tabs at the right time each day is the most important thing.
C Author of the SoreButtCheeks steroid blog. Google SoreButtCheeks to find it. Type of fat shouldn't matter since it points to the hormone being fat soluble, for health reasons I'd pick healthy fats. The grapefruit thing isn't talked about much any more but grapefruit inhibits enzymes that breakdown medications. Not too sure how this would affect AA drugs since the only one I know prescribed in abundance is birth control.
Just do whatever but take them with GF juice. I guess you dont have the internet to search for it yourself ;. LOL ofcourse there is science behind it. Grapefruit juice interferes with gut enzymes that influence the transport of drugs into the body, which makes the drugs more concentrated and potentially dangerous.
It can increase blood concentrations of some drugs by 1. This won't ultimatley prevent the drugs metabolism, just slow it. Most drugs are dosed at intervals which are based on the typical metabolism in the average person. Adjustments are often required in pateints that are renally or hepaticaly impared.
Grapefruit juice has the potential to change the rate of metabolism of a drug, and when dosed at the normal interval, concentrations can build to toxic levels. Pharmacies actually have little stickers that say "do not consume grapefruit juice" for some scripts. I do Winnie on an empty stomach, just before heading out the door to the gym. Hits like a freight train that way. Pharmacies actually have little stickers that say "do not consume grapefruit juice" for some scripts my lipator has that; don't know what it will do but, hey, i'll follow the little sticker's advice!
Basically makes the drug more effective, and sometimes thats not a good thing ie cholesterol lowering drugs, blood thinners, duiretics etc. Always listen to BLP! Dont ever do it with drugs like lipitor.
